Riad Saba
In the heart of the Marrakech medina, the moroccan-swedish couple; Jabrane and Maria are waiting to receive you in Riad Saba. It has been lovingly renovated over five years with local craftsmen and artists, creating a little oasis for the discerning traveller.
A courtyard open to the sky, a patio with fountain and exotic plants, decoration with a personal touch. A rooftop to enjoy the african sky; simply a place to muse on the good things in life. Riad Saba's staff is at your disposal during your stay: dedicated to their work, and your comfort. A breakfast on the sunny rooftop; a candlelight dinner by the arcades, or a glass of wine by the fireplace in the large living-room. Moments that will create happy memories of Riad Saba and Marrakech. In your room, you will find a bottle of water, fresh fruits and flowers each day.
Minibuses and cars can easily drive all the way to the riad and there is guarded parking 20 m. from the main door.
Riad Saba is happy to organise celebrations, conferences, seminars and other special requests. It has a spacious living room (40m2) with fireplace, library, computer, WiFi, DVD player and films, and the dining room under the arcades by the patio has seating for 12-14 people. There is a large kitchen where our workshops in moroccan cuisine are offered.

Riad Saba Rooms
Pasha Room
Pasha room is the only room on the ground floor. It is a spacious room that suits guests who want to avoid climbing stairs. It has a very high ceiling with a fantastic hand carved stucco. The red velvet bedspreads were once upon a time curtains in a Swedish castle. The funky shower cabin is made of traditional tadelakt and was designed by Jabrane.
Ocean
Ocean room enjoys morning sun through the light green organza curtains. The ocean-like turquoise and green colours were inspired by the little Art Deco make up table that Maria found during one of her many flee market sprees in the South of Sweden.
Chocolate
The elegant Chocolate Room comes with a double bed, and a large bathroom with shower. Complete with air-conditioning.
Chocolate room has a writing desk and a sofa, that works as an extra bed for a child or a grown-up. A gorgeous Tricia Guild fabric in turquoise and maroon dictates the colors of this room. The shape of the shower is inspired by a traditional Moroccan washing basin.
Mauve
The delightful Mauve Room offers the choice of a double bed or twin beds, and has a large bathroom with shower. Complete with air-conditioning.
Mauve room can become a suite together with Sahari through a connecting door. The curtains in mauve and gold gives this room a kind of royal feel to it. The shower is made from a drawing that Maria made in the very beginning of the renovation.
Colour scheme; Purple and green.
Sahari
The delightful Sahari Room offers the choice of a double bed or twin beds, and has a large bathroom with bath and shower. Complete with air-conditioning.
Sahari room enjoys the afternoon sun and can be connected with Mauve room. The table and chairs are decorated in Tuareg style with pieces of beautifully hand-painted leather. On the wall hangs an Ikat weaving that is a part of a collection that Maria gathered while island-hopping in Indonesia.
